About me

Hello, everyone! I’m Nawapan Wattanawanichkul, but you can call me “Ploy”. Originally from Ubon Ratchatani, Thailand, I received the King’s scholarship from the Thai government in 2016, which allowed me to pursue my undergraduate studies at Bowdoin College in the United States. Currently, I am working towards a Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a primary focus on analytic number theory, particularly $L$-functions.

Outside of my academic pursuits, I have a passion for painting, baking, traveling, and exploring new activities. On this platform, I’ll be regularly sharing updates such as new papers, lecture notes, and memorable experiences, so be sure to stay tuned!
